Crispy golden brown packages filled with a juicy meat meat filling deep fried to perfection. This wonton recipe is quick and easy. Bet you can’t eat just one.
Heat oil in a wok or pot on medium high to about 350-375F.
In a large mixing bowl combine beef, pork, green onion, kamaboko, water chestnut, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
Place a heaping tablespoon of the mixture in the center of a wonton wrapper. Use your finger tip to spread a small amount of water along two edges of the wonton wrapper. Bring the opposite corners together forming a triangle and firmly press the edges to seal.
Place wonton in oil and fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes each side.
Remove wonton and place on a paper towel to drain the excess oil. Serve immediately.
