Ingredients
  

  • ¼ pound ground beef
  • ¼ pound ground pork
  • ¼ cup kamaboko diced
  • ¼ cup water chestnut diced
  • 2 tablespoons green onion diced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • canola oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a wok or pot on medium high to about 350-375F.
  • In a large mixing bowl combine beef, pork, green onion, kamaboko, water chestnut, garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Place a heaping tablespoon of the mixture in the center of a wonton wrapper. Use your finger tip to spread a small amount of water along two edges of the wonton wrapper. Bring the opposite corners together forming a triangle and firmly press the edges to seal.
  • Place wonton in oil and fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes each side.
  • Remove wonton and place on a paper towel to drain the excess oil. Serve immediately.
