This umami packed miso vinaigrette makes an amazing salad dressing as well as a delicious marinade. A quick and easy recipe that will step up your salad game today.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon red miso
  • 1 tablespoon shoyu
  • 1 tablespoon unseasoned rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon finely diced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon grated peeled ginger

Instructions
 

  • For the dressing: Add all the ingredients to a bowl and whisk until well combined.
  • Optionally: add all ingredients to a mason jar, cover with lid, and shake until well combined.

Notes

*Great salad idea: spring salad mix, won ton chips, honey roasted almond slivers, and dried cranberries.
*Red miso can be substitued with white miso for a milder miso flavor.
*You can swap out the avocado oil for olive oil or any other mild flavor dressing.
*If you can't find fresh lemons, you can use lemon bottled lemon juice.
