1 tablespoon olive oil 1 small onion diced 3 cloves of garlic diced ½ cup chicken broth 1 28 ounce can crushed tomatoes 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper 2 teaspoons dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried basil
Get Recipe Ingredients
Heat a skillet on medium high.
Add olive oil, onions, and garlic to pan and saute until about 5 minutes or until onions are translucent.
Pour in chicken broth, stir, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, salt, and pepper stir and simmer for 10 minutes
Add oregano and basil, stir, and simmer another 10 minutes.
Serve warm over your favorite pasta/pizza dish.
You can run the sauce through a food processor or blender if you prefer a less chunky sauce.
