Here is yet another Instant Pot recipe. If you have not noticed I absolutely love the Instant Pot. As a working mother of two my time is limited, but I do not want to skimp out on meal time. Luckily I have the Instant Pot to help speed up cooking time, so I can spend more time eating and hanging out with my family.

If you have not gotten yourself an Instant Pot yet, what are you waiting for. You can get the Instant Pot I have here.

Honey, shoyu, and garlic combine to make the most delicious sauce. Sweet and salty pair so well. Smother that over tender, juicy chicken and call it a night. Yum yum yum.

What goes well with honey garlic chicken?

My personal favorite is sticky, white rice. You can also serve with Instant Pot mashed potatoes. You can layer the potatoes in a steamer basket over the chicken and cook both at the same time. Super mom win! Steamed veggies also go well here.

How long does it take to cook honey garlic chicken in the Instant Pot?

From start to finish just about 35 minutes as it takes some time for the Instant Pot to come to pressure and depressurize.

How to store leftovers?

Once chicken has cooled you can store in an airtight container in the fridge. The FDA recommends storage of 3-4 days. You can also store in the freezer in a zip top bag for 4-6 months.

How to make Instant Pot honey garlic chicken?

Set Instant Pot to saute.

Add oil and onions. Saute until translucent, about 5 minutes. Then add garlic and chicken. Sear chicken about 1-2 minutes. Flip and sear the other side.

Pour sauce in Instant Pot. Set to sealing. Cancel saute mode and cook on manual high pressure for 15 minutes.
