Cream of chicken is a thick, creamy chicken stock with chicken meat. It can be found in your local grocery or big box stores in the canned goods aisle.
What kind of ranch seasoning packets can I use?
You can use any brand or even make your own from scratch. If I’m in a rush I will use the store bought packets. I like the Kraft or Hidden Valley brand ranch packets.
What cut of chicken can I use?
I like breast and thighs best, but you really could use any cut of the chicken.
Can I add in other ingredients?
Sure. You can add potatoes, carrots, or any other veggie.
How long does it take to cook Crock Pot ranch chicken?
4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
How to make Crock Pot ranch chicken?
It really is super simple. In a mixing bowl combine cream of chicken and the ranch packet of seasonings. Mix until well combined. You can add a few tablespoons of water to the mixture if it is too thick. Remember the sauce will thin while cooking as the juices of the chicken are released. Add a few tablespoons of the mixture to the bottom of the Crock Pot. Layer in the chicken. Pour remaining mixture in to the Crock Pot to cover the chicken. Cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 8 hours.

- 1 pound chicken breast
- 1 (10.5 ounce) can of condensed cream of chicken
- 1 (1 ounce) packet of ranch packet seasoning
- In a mixing bowl combine cream of chicken and ranch.
- Place a few tablespoons of the mixture in to the bottom of the Crock Pot.
- Lay chicken into Crock Pot and cover with remaining mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
The mixture can be thinned with a few tablespoons of water.
